The Blending Operator is a crucial role within Impact Beverage’s production team, responsible for the meticulous blending, transferring, and carbonating of all beverage products manufactured by the company. This position requires a hands-on approach to ensure product quality and adherence to safety standards throughout the production process. A primary responsibility is the execution of cleaning-in-place (CIP) and sterilization-in-place (SIP) protocols for fermenters, conditioning tanks, blending vessels, and associated transfer equipment such as hoses and pumps. The role demands careful attention to maintaining cleanliness and operating procedures to keep beverage products at the highest quality standards.
Working closely with cross-functional teams, including quality assurance and warehouse departments, the Blending Operator supports production schedules and contributes to a team-first culture. The role requires the ability to adapt quickly to changing business needs, embrace lean manufacturing principles, and participate in ongoing training and development opportunities. Shift options include Wed-Saturday with both morning and evening schedules available, making it suitable for candidates seeking varied work hours.

Job Requirements
- Operate inside confined spaces

Job Qualifications
- Experience in blending in regulated industries such as food, beverage, or pharmaceuticals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel, ERP and data analysis capabilities
- Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Job Duties
- Assist across all production departments to fulfill daily production demand dictated by the production schedule
- Help build a team first culture with a cross training and quality first mindset
- Perform tank cleaning and upkeep following standardized cleaning procedures for fermenter and Brite tanks
- Record and track cleaning data alongside tanks status communication
- Assist in the blending of mixed products through proper material handling and product specifications
- Follow standardized procedures to ensure safety and quality controls are met throughout the production process
- Coordinate with QA/QC Department to ensure protocols are followed and relevant quality data is collected
- Assist in implementation of new quality procedures and policies
- Participate in product sensory, matrix teams and educational opportunities designed to promote personal development and growth
- Communicate and plan with the Warehouse department for proper material coordination and logistics
- Follow 5S and lean manufacturing practices for increased output, efficiency, and organization throughout the beverage manufacturing process
- Ensure proper sanitation and cleanliness is maintained in production work areas including canning line, kegging line, cellar tanks, and warehouse
- Report breakdowns and maintenance issues or concerns to supervisors and relay to Maintenance team
- Practice proper inventory rotation and cycle counts as needed
- Coordinate effectively and efficiently with all members of the Impact Staff, especially Production Department
- Cross-train and work in other areas of Impact production as needed
- Work as needed to achieve production schedule goals
- Perform other jobs or duties as assigned by the Blending Production Manager
