Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Prior experience as a production operator
  • Good math and communication skills
  • Ability to read, write and speak English
  • Experience with operator control panels or ability to learn
  • Prior knowledge or ability to run automated blending equipment
  • Mechanical aptitude to sequence equipment for proper start-up and shutdown
  • Ability to identify line problems and employ corrective actions
  • Ability to perform repetitive stooping and lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Valid forklift license and safe forklift operation
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts with unpaid lunch and overtime
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Prior experience as a production operator
  • Good math and communication skills
  • Ability to read, write and speak English
  • Experience with operator control panels or ability to learn
  • Knowledge or ability to run automated blending equipment
  • Mechanical aptitude for equipment start-up and shutdown
  • Ability to identify line problems and employ corrective actions
  • Valid forklift license and ability to operate forklifts safely
  • Physical stamina to stoop, lift up to 50 pounds, bend and stand for prolonged periods
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts including overtime

Job Duties

  • Perform blending activities that convert raw materials into finished products
  • Batch equipment set up and clean-ups including drum handling and dumping
  • Utilize Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) to clean and maintain production area equipment, floors, walls, and ceilings
  • Visually inspect incoming materials and finished goods, report non-conformances and make minor corrections
  • Run multiple pieces of equipment including high shear tanks, fluid choppers, tote loaders and conveyor equipment
  • Perform line inspections and complete all required quality checks and documentation
  • Adhere to Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) requirements and ensure safety protocols are followed
  • Monitor computer terminals and operator interface terminals (OIT) screens
  • Operate forklifts after certification and provide relief for other operators as needed
