- Must be forklift qualified (training available)
- able to lift 50lb bags and pails
- effective communication and organizational skills
- prior blending experience preferred

- knowledge of good manufacturing practices
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Accurately picks, measures and blends formulas using standard operating procedures and GMPs
- operates blenders, mixers, cookers and ancillary equipment without direction and within SOP and process guidelines
- ensures proper lot coding, prepares samples for lab testing and works closely with packaging to ensure timely preparation
- continually monitors product quality and advises supervision of quality issues
- monitors and reports on food safety issues when perceived
- maintains accurate records and paperwork
