Job Requirements

  • High school or equivalent education required
  • One to three years culinary experience
  • Customer service experience required
  • Safe server alcohol and food certification
  • Ability to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to four hours
  • Ability to lift up to 45 lbs as needed
  • Ability to work in extreme temperatures like freezers (-10 degrees F) and kitchens (+110 degrees F)
  • Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language used in the workplace
  • Must possess basic computer skills
  • Must be able to operate POS systems
  • Able to work independently
  • Regular attendance in conformance with company standards
  • Maintain neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance per company standards
  • Ability to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Take and serve guest orders promptly and according to the hotel's service standards
  • Describe menu items and suggest products to customers
  • Complete opening and closing duties including setting up necessary supplies and tools, cleaning all equipment and areas, locking equipment doors
  • Set up, stock, and maintain work areas
  • Prepare food, coffee, and other beverages
  • Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food
  • Clean food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils
