Job Requirements

High school or equivalent education required
One to three years culinary experience
Customer service experience required
Safe server alcohol and food certification
Ability to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to four hours
Ability to lift up to 45 lbs as needed
Ability to work in extreme temperatures like freezers (-10 degrees F) and kitchens (+110 degrees F)
Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language used in the workplace
Must possess basic computer skills
Must be able to operate POS systems
Able to work independently
Regular attendance in conformance with company standards
Maintain neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance per company standards
Ability to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs

Job Qualifications

High school or equivalent education
One to three years culinary experience
Customer service experience required
Safe server alcohol and food certification
Good communication skills, verbal, written and electronic
Excellent leadership capability and customer relations skills
Detail oriented with outstanding organizational and communication skills
Basic computer skills
Basic computational ability
Knowledge of table and bar service
Ability to describe all menu items and methods of preparation

Job Duties

Take and serve guest orders promptly and according to the hotel's service standards
Describe menu items and suggest products to customers
Complete opening and closing duties including setting up necessary supplies and tools, cleaning all equipment and areas, locking equipment doors
Set up, stock, and maintain work areas
Prepare food, coffee, and other beverages
Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food
Clean food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils
