Job Duties

Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner
accurately take, enter, prepare, and deliver guest orders
respond promptly to guest needs and provide quality service
assist other associates to meet guest needs
operate micros POS system and cash register effectively
follow all cash handling and POS procedures for accurate closing
answer questions about menu items, specials, and prices
familiarize with preparation methods and ingredients to address dietary and allergy inquiries
actively up-sell food and beverage items
monitor and replenish stock of prepared menu items
prepare food timely and operate Turbo Chef according to standards
brew coffee and prepare coffee and other drinks according to recipes
assist bartender with alcoholic beverage service adhering to liquor laws
dispose of garbage and pick up trays
re-stock dishes on the line
clear and wipe tables and counters
transfer full dish tubs to dish room and assist with washing dishes
complete required paperwork accurately and on time
assist with inventory and inventory par sheets
maintain clean and safe work area adhering to regulations
assist in maintaining sanitation and cleanliness of Bistro, kitchen, and dish room
follow procedures for guest and associate incidents
be knowledgeable of hotel emergency procedures
plan, organize, and prioritize work duties to produce required volume
adhere to grooming and appearance standards and department procedures
attend required meetings
complete all required side work and assist wherever necessary
contribute actively to the success of the Bistro experience
assist with set-up, maintenance, and take down of banquet areas
provide food and beverage service at social or business functions in a friendly manner
