The Server role at Life Time is designed for individuals passionate about delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced dining environment. Servers at Life Time play a crucial role in enhancing the member experience by accurately taking orders, delivering food and beverages promptly, and ensuring dining areas maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization. This position is based at the pool deck area, where servers engage directly with members, answer questions about menu items, and make personalized recommendations to elevate the dining experience. Candidates will gain valuable experience working within a fast casual or full-service setting and will be part of a friendly, energetic team that values collaboration and dedication. The Server is expected to have strong communication skills and the stamina to work on their feet for extended periods, along with the ability to lift more than 20 pounds routinely. Certifications such as ServSafe and CPR/AED are required to maintain safety and hygiene standards in the workplace. Job Requirements
- 1+ year of experience in restaurant fast casual or full service
- ServSafe certification required within first 90 days
- CPR/AED certification required within first 30 days
- Ability to routinely and repetitively bend to lift more than 20 lbs
- Ability to work in a stationary position and move about the cafe for prolonged periods of time
Job Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience working in a restaurant with a fast casual or full service experience
- ServSafe certification within the first 90 days of hire
- CPR/AED certification within the first 30 days of hire
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
Job Duties
- Presents menu, answers questions, and makes suggestions regarding food and service
- Takes orders from members/customers in assigned stations at the pool deck, relays information to the kitchen, and efficiently delivers the food/drink items ordered
- Ensures cleanliness and order of the area including cleaning surfaces and placing tables/chairs in proper places
- Calculates bill and processes payments
