The Server role at Life Time is essential to delivering the unique LifeCafe and Bistro experience to members. This position is hourly and offers wages starting at $16.50 per hour, with potential increases up to $19.50 based on experience and qualifications. Servers play a critical role in ensuring guest satisfaction by providing attentive, accurate, and friendly service in a fast-casual or full-service dining environment. A typical day includes presenting menus, answering member questions, making food and beverage recommendations, taking orders, and delivering meals promptly. Servers also maintain the cleanliness and organization of their service areas, including tables and seating arrangements. This position requires a combination of customer service skills, physical stamina, and knowledge of food and beverage offerings to exceed member expectations. The Server must also demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff and work efficiently under varying levels of activity throughout shifts.

Job Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience working in a restaurant with fast casual or full service experience
  • ServSafe certification required within the first 90 days of hire
  • CPR/AED certification required within the first 30 days of hire
  • Ability to routinely and repetitively bend to lift more than 20 lbs
  • Ability to work in a stationary position and move about the cafe for prolonged periods of time

Job Duties

  • Presents menu, answers questions, and makes suggestions regarding food and service
  • Takes orders from members/customers in assigned stations at the pool deck, relays information to the kitchen, and efficiently delivers the food/drink items ordered
  • Ensures cleanliness and order of the area including cleaning surfaces and placing tables/chairs in proper places
  • Calculates bill and processes payments
