Job Description
Our establishment is a distinguished hospitality venue that prides itself on delivering exceptional food and beverage services to guests in a manner that is both courteous and aligned with our high standards of service excellence. As part of a reputable brand known for commitment to quality, sustainability, and guest satisfaction, we operate with a clear focus on creating memorable dining experiences while adhering to established hotel guest service protocols and environmental sustainability initiatives such as the EarthView program. We believe that people are our greatest asset and dedicate ourselves to cultivating a workplace where excellence, agility, and ownership are core values.
The role of a Bistro Server is pivotal in ensuring seamless food and beverage delivery to our guests. This position involves not only serving but also communicating effectively with kitchen staff about dietary requirements and guest preferences, thereby playing a key role in maintaining guest satisfaction and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include setting up the workspace with necessary supplies and maintaining it throughout shifts, processing customer orders and payments accurately, and occasionally assisting in food preparation and bartending during peak periods or staffing shortages. The role demands versatility, attentiveness, and a thorough understanding of safety and health regulations, including those related to alcohol service as mandated by state and federal laws. Our Bistro Servers are also encouraged to engage actively with our sustainability practices, contributing to our EarthView goals that reinforce our commitment to environmental stewardship.
Employment in this role involves a varied work schedule that can include weekends, holidays, and alternate shifts, requiring physical stamina for long periods of standing, lifting, and bending. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who thrive in dynamic hospitality environments and are motivated by delivering superior guest experiences. The growth path within our organization is clearly outlined, offering progression from Bistro Server to roles such as Banquet Server or Captain, Restaurant Supervisor, Restaurant Manager, and eventually Banquet Manager. This trajectory highlights our investment in employee development and commitment to career advancement within the hospitality sector.
As a Bistro Server, you'll not only be a key contributor to our team but also a representative of our values and excellence standards. This role offers more than just a job - it offers a platform for professional growth, skill enhancement, and participation in a purpose-driven hospitality environment where every day presents new opportunities to make a positive impact. Join us and become part of a team that believes in hearts that serve and the relentless pursuit of excellence, where every guest experience is crafted with care and expertise.
