Job Duties
- Prepare ingredients for cooking including portioning chopping and storing food
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes quality standards presentation standards and food preparation checklist for hotel restaurant and catered functions
- Understand food cost and portion control without sacrificing quality
- Assist with food quality and presentation maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and restaurant
- Accommodate guests’ special requests
- Always adhere to proper food handling and safety guidelines
- Assist with inventory ordering and receiving of all food and beverage items as directed
