The role of Commercial Operations Specialist at Baker Hughes is integral to enhancing the company’s sales effectiveness and streamlining commercial processes. This position focuses on sales analytics, customer relationship management (CRM) governance, billing accuracy, as well as commercial planning and forecasting. The specialist supports sales teams by optimizing resource allocation, managing territory coverage, and overseeing sales incentives to boost overall productivity. Additionally, the role involves ownership of Inquiry to Order (ITO) processes and facilitating business reviews to ensure that commercial operations run smoothly across the region. The Commercial Operations Specialist is also responsible for handling standardized product offerings, providing client guidance, contributing to pricing strategies within defined frameworks, and maintaining billing and invoice accuracy while managing disputes when necessary. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college or high school diploma/GED with 4+ years of sales experience
  • proficiency with sales force effectiveness and productivity analysis
  • knowledge of resource allocation and territory coverage
  • experience with sales incentives
  • proficient in Salesforce CRM platform and tools
  • experience leading commercial planning and forecasting
  • familiarity with Inquiry to Order (ITO) processes
  • capability to handle billing, invoices, and customer disputes
  • proficiency in Excel and Power BI
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work independently
  • strong problem-solving skills
