The Greeter / Porter position at Bill Rapp Subaru is a full-time role based in Syracuse, NY, offering a starting pay rate from $17.00 per hour plus a monthly Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) bonus of $350. This position is crucial in creating positive first impressions for every customer entering the service department. The Greeter / Porter acts as the welcoming face for customers visiting the service drive and also plays a key role in the efficient operation and organization of the service lot and vehicle inventory. Ideal candidates are those who enjoy working with vehicles, prefer an active work environment, and have strong customer service skills.

As part of the service team, the Greeter / Porter is responsible for greeting customers warmly, assisting in directing them to the appropriate service advisors, and helping maintain an organized and safe service lot by moving, parking, and staging vehicles. The role requires interacting frequently with customers and other team members, thus excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor are important. Additionally, the position includes duties such as helping transport vehicles through the wash area when necessary and supporting service advisors and technicians with various lot-related tasks.
