The role available is for a Bilingual Warehouse Janitorial Site Supervisor/Manager. This is a full-time position with shifts available from Sunday to Wednesday or Wednesday to Saturday, from 7 am to 3 pm, starting at $17.80 per hour. The position requires someone who thrives in fast-paced, constantly changing environments and enjoys problem-solving while ensuring a safe workplace. As a bilingual site manager (English and Spanish), the individual will oversee janitorial operations at warehouse locations, maintaining quality and safety standards.
Key responsibilities include managing operational budgets, labor planning, and cost optimization. The supervisor will directly oversee janitorial personnel, ensuring they receive proper training and performance feedback. Collaborating with team members, the manager will tackle operational challenges and maintain coverage across three shifts by working closely with shift leads. Responsibilities also include compliances like safety programs, including forklift training, chemical and supply inventory management, and enforcement of company policies. A focus on employee safety, incident reporting, and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is critical.
Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 4 years of supervisory and leadership experience in janitorial operations, building maintenance, or distribution centers. Proficiency in OSHA regulations, forklift certification, and strong communication skills are essential. Experience with human resource processes like hiring, performance management, and discipline is required. Job Requirements
- Must be bilingual in English and Spanish
- 10 Hour OSHA certification training for general industry
- OSHA standards forklift/scissor lift operator certification
- experience in janitorial operations strongly preferred
- minimum 4 years of supervisory and leadership experience in distribution centers, janitorial or building maintenance
- ability to effectively communicate with internal/external customers and employees
- experienced with application of human resources process and procedures, including full staffing lifecycle, interviewing, hiring, performance management, promotions, and terminations

Job Duties
- Responsible for operational financial budget, labor planning, and cost optimization
- provides direct supervision of assigned janitorial operations personnel
- ensures proper training for all personnel in their respective positions
- measures performance, provides feedback and develops staff setting clear expectations ensuring employee safety is a priority committing to timely incident reporting procedures
- collaborates with team to ensure coordination and successful execution of daily operations, resolving deficiencies in a timely manner
- maintains coverages for all 3 shifts by coordinating and collaborating with shift leads confirming daily schedules
- maintains compliance with all company policies and procedures and issues disciplinary actions where needed
- implements company use of machinery and safety programs including forklift training
- manages chemicals and supply inventory ensures employee safety and use of proper PPE
