Job Requirements
- At least high school diploma or equivalent
- bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
- minimum 1 year of experience in a legal office or similar environment
- ability to handle multi-line phone systems
- excellent communication skills
- reliable and punctual
- capable of maintaining confidentiality
- Saturday availability
- proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
Job Qualifications
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) with full proficiency
- case management software experience is a significant plus
- at least 1 year of experience in the legal field
- resourceful, and motivated to resolve issues whenever they arise
- customer service attitude
- Microsoft Excel, Google Spreadsheets, and CLIO (preferred)
- Saturday availability required 8am - 5pm
- work schedule full-time 8am - 5pm and 11am - 8pm
Job Duties
- Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office
- direct all office visitors
- answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls
- ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and materials
- provide fundamental information in-person and via phone/email
- receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries
- maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling office access
- order front office supplies and keep an inventory of stock
- update calendars and schedule meetings
- drafting, filing, and preparing legal contracts (training provided)
