Job Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience in ocean freight, logistics, or customer service
  • strong verbal and written communication in English and Spanish
  • intermediate skills in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • highly organized with the ability to prioritize and work under pressure
  • able to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred

Job Duties

  • Review and file shipment documents by vessel
  • communicate with customers and out ports via phone and email in English and Spanish
  • verify cargo release and regulatory compliance
  • coordinate billing, credit, and collections prior to cargo release
  • schedule deliveries and inform teams of refrigeration needs
  • notify customers of delays or damages
  • ensure vessels are closed out on time and prepare G.O. paperwork as needed
