Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening
- Current Texas driver's license with clean driving record and liability insurance
- Access to reliable transportation
- Ability to work Tuesday to Saturday including early mornings and evenings
- Willingness to work holidays and disaster response if needed
- Ability to travel across 29-county service territory using GPS
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions including heat, cold, and wet environments
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage time efficiently
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
- Two years of non-profit program or related experience preferred
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Proficient with Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Previous event planning experience strongly preferred
- Professional demeanor with high literacy
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Strong judgment and discretion
- Excellent customer service skills
- Commitment to the mission of fighting hunger and feeding hope
Job Duties
- Develop and implement mobile market activities to increase access and participation
- Manage an assigned portfolio of mobile market partnerships including onboarding, training, and audits
- Design the monthly schedule of the Mobile Market Program
- Oversee and coordinate mobile market distributions including event planning and audits
- Collaborate with organizations to schedule distribution events and manage logistics such as registration, volunteers, and traffic control
- Coordinate with warehouse, inventory, and transportation teams to ensure event preparation and execution
- Address community concerns and troubleshoot issues during mobile distributions
- Monitor compliance with Feeding America, USDA, TDA, and other guidelines
- Ensure proper neighbor intake, food allocation, food safety, and customer service standards
- Report on event metrics including registration, poundage distributed, and post-event analysis
- Provide direction and support to all participants during Mobile Market events
