Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- prior healthcare experience with scheduling and EMR/EHR databases
- strong computer proficiency including data entry and navigation
- experience with Microsoft Outlook and Word
- excellent communication skills both oral and written
- ability to demonstrate empathy and compassion
- bilingual in English and Spanish
- must be able to work onsite at Woodstone, San Antonio, Texas
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- healthcare experience including scheduling appointments and working with EMR/EHR systems
- strong computer skills including data entry, screen navigation, and keyboarding
- proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Word
- excellent oral and written communication skills
- ability to demonstrate caring, empathy, and compassion
- bilingual in English and Spanish
- effective interpersonal and organizational skills
Job Duties
- Answer a high volume of inbound calls
- transfer and direct calls
- provide exceptional customer service via telephone
- manage front office patient coordination including appointment scheduling and transport coordination
- communicate clearly and effectively with patients, clients, team members, peers, and leadership
- accurately input data into Carenet and EMR databases
- respond to inquiries from patients, customers, and third-party vendors
- provide clinic directions and hours of operation
- contact health plans to verify patient insurance information
- make a meaningful difference in patients' lives
