Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- healthcare experience with scheduling appointments and EMR/EHR databases
- strong computer experience including data entry and screen navigation
- experience with Microsoft Outlook and Word
- excellent oral and written communication skills
- ability to demonstrate caring, empathy and compassion
- bilingual in English and Spanish
- must be able to report to work at Woodstone, San Antonio
- completion of required assessments independently
Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- healthcare experience with scheduling appointments and working with EMR and EHR databases
- strong computer skills including data entry, screen navigation and keyboarding
- proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Word
- excellent oral and written communication skills
- demonstration of caring, empathy and compassion
- bilingual in English and Spanish
- ability to report to work at Woodstone, San Antonio
Job Duties
- Answer a high volume of inbound calls
- transfer and direct calls
- provide exceptional customer service via telephone
- manage front office patient coordination including appointment scheduling and transport coordination
- communicate clearly and effectively with patients, clients, team members, peers and leadership
- accurately input data into Carenet and EMR databases
- answer inquiries from patients, customers and third-party vendors
- contact health plans to verify patient insurance information
- provide clinic directions and hours of operation
- make a positive difference in patients' lives
