Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Responsible for all front desk functions in a primary care setting
  • schedule appointments
  • schedule specialty and ancillary appointments
  • answer phones
  • complete managed care referrals
  • obtain pre-certifications when needed
  • responsible for patient registration data entry
  • verify insurance
  • daily batching of encounter forms
  • log referrals in the tracking system
  • follow up for reports from specialists
  • arrange transportation when needed for patients
  • assist patients when needed
  • review patient's charts and encounter forms for completion
  • file reports
  • file charts
  • perform other duties as assigned
