Job Requirements
- Bilingual (Korean/English)
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1-3 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, transportation, or administration support
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Comfortable with data entry, analysis, and navigating logistics systems
- Self-motivated attitude and desire to grow in the freight forwarding industry
Job Qualifications
- Bilingual (Korean/English)
- Professional degree or certification in logistics, supply chain, or related field is preferred
- 1-3 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, transportation, or administration support
- Previous experience in international logistics or freight forwarding is highly preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent listening, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Comfortable with data entry, analysis, and navigating logistics systems (experience with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace is a plus)
- A self-motivated attitude and desire to grow in the freight forwarding industry
Job Duties
- Review and process shipment documentation for a dedicated customer base, ensuring accurate system entry and smooth customs release
- Secure releases from U.S. Customs and other government agencies, arrange final delivery, and ensure accurate and timely invoicing
- Coordinate compliant release and delivery of cargo post-clearance, including delivery setup and billing
- Act as the single point of contact between customers, U.S. Customs, and other regulatory agencies to ensure all service commitments are met
- Flag any issues or irregularities in documentation or shipments and escalate as needed
- Deliver top-tier customer service, keeping clients informed on shipment status and providing timely updates using sound judgment
- Maintain and update customer profiles and systems, prepare quotes, and generate correspondence as needed
- Manage pre-alerts and proactively track incoming shipments, verifying arrival timelines and documentation readiness
- Stay sharp by pursuing ongoing learning through self-study and approved courses/seminars
- Continuously enhance your system knowledge, mastering both basic functions and advanced features
