Job Description

We are currently seeking a bilingual Intake Specialist fluent in Spanish to join our dedicated team. This full-time position offers an hourly pay range of $19.00 to $22.00. The Intake Specialist will play a critical role in facilitating communication between the firm and potential clients, ensuring a seamless intake process for both English and Spanish-speaking individuals. As the first point of contact, this position requires strong communication skills, exceptional customer service, and the ability to handle inquiries with professionalism and empathy. The successful candidate will be responsible for answering incoming calls, managing client intake inquiries, and providing translation assistance when necessary. Additionally, this role includes scheduling client meetings, preparing correspondence, and supporting general administrative tasks and front desk coverage as needed.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong aptitude for organizational tasks, exhibit excellent phone etiquette, and maintain a friendly and professional demeanor at all times. Experience in customer service, particularly within a call center or administrative office setting, is highly desirable. Successful performance in this fast-paced environment demands a self-starter attitude, meticulous attention to detail, and strong proficiency in typing and the use of software including Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Adobe, and various phone systems. Knowledge of medical or legal terminology is a valuable plus.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • fully fluent in spoken and written English and Spanish
  • minimum of 2 years customer service experience
  • strong typing skills with a minimum of 60 WPM
  • proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • knowledge of Microsoft Office and related software
  • experience with administrative tasks in an office environment
  • availability to work full-time in person

Job Qualifications

  • Fully fluent (speaking, writing, & reading) in English and Spanish
  • customer service experience preferably in a call center environment
  • experience as an administrative assistant in an in-office environment

Job Duties

  • Answer incoming calls
  • handle potential client intake inquiries from English and Spanish speaking callers
  • assist with Spanish to English translations with clients and callers
  • assist all callers by providing polite and professional assistance via phone, e-mail, or mail
