Our team is committed to maintaining a friendly and productive atmosphere where every staff member plays a crucial role in the overall patient experience. We offer competitive wages, paid time off, 401k, health benefits, and a great working environment where professional growth and teamwork are valued. We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer, welcoming candidates from all backgrounds who share our passion for healthcare and patient service.
We are currently seeking a Bilingual (Spanish and English) Front Office Medical Assistant to join our dynamic primary care team. This role is primarily front office-focused and requires a motivated individual with exceptional organizational skills, professionalism, and empathy. The ideal candidate will be responsible for scheduling patients, accurately entering information into our medical computer system, managing patient check-ins and check-outs, editing patient charts as necessary, and verifying patients' insurance and benefits. Key to this role is the ability to handle sensitive patient information with the utmost confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations. The successful applicant must be reliable, possess a strong work ethic, and demonstrate consistent attendance. We are looking for a team player who communicates effectively, maintains a professional demeanor, and exhibits a pleasant personality with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. The role also involves rooming patients and assisting medical providers by preparing patients courteously and efficiently when required. Experience or exposure to Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems is beneficial, and the ability to multitask by managing multiple patient interactions seamlessly is essential.
This is a part-time position with immediate availability, requiring availability Monday through Friday from 7:45 am to 5 pm, with early Fridays at 3 pm. Some Saturday availability would be considered a plus. This opportunity offers an excellent chance to work within a supportive healthcare team and contribute positively to the patient care journey while advancing your career in a respected primary care office.
