The company operates a modern production facility with an emphasis on operational excellence and employee development, making it an employer of choice for those passionate about food manufacturing and leadership roles.
They are currently seeking an experienced and bilingual English/Spanish Production Supervisor to lead their night shift from 7 PM to 5 AM. This salaried position offers a competitive annual salary of $80,000 with the added benefit of hourly pay for any hours worked beyond the standard five-day workweek. This role is crucial in overseeing night shift production operations, coordinating all activities on the production lines, and ensuring that production goals are met while upholding the bakery's strict quality and safety standards.
The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is skilled at problem-solving, motivating teams, and driving continuous improvements. Reporting directly to the Production Manager, the Production Supervisor will lead by example, fostering an engaged and high-performing workforce through coaching, training, and mentorship. They will be responsible for ensuring compliance with food safety and quality policies, maintaining accurate data entry in company systems, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, especially the maintenance department, to address equipment issues promptly.
This role requires someone with at least 2 years of experience in bakery or food and beverage manufacturing environments, who is proficient in Microsoft Office applications, and fully bilingual in English and Spanish. A high school diploma or GED is required. Preference will be given to candidates familiar with Autonomous Maintenance and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) principles.
Working conditions include regular exposure to moving mechanical equipment, occasional exposure to wet, hot, or humid environments, and moderate noise levels. The role involves frequent physical activity such as standing, walking, reaching, stooping, kneeling, and handling materials, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
This position offers an excellent opportunity for a leadership professional to grow within a dynamic and supportive culture that values safety, quality, and employee development. If you meet the qualifications and are ready to contribute to a thriving team, this role in Bradenton, FL, could be your next career move.
