As a Bike Rebalancer, also known as a Bike Valet, you become a vital part of Soiree Valet’s on-the-ground team. This role is designed for individuals who enjoy working outdoors and engaging in physical activity throughout the day. As a Bike Rebalancer, your primary responsibility is to ensure that bikes are evenly distributed and available at various bike corrals across the campus. This involves actively monitoring the location and movement of bikes, employing a company vehicle to reposition bikes where they are needed most, and maintaining the overall balance of the fleet. You will also provide basic bike maintenance such as adding air to tires, assisting with special events and promotions related to the bike program, and managing incident reports by following established escalation procedures.

Working shifts typically run from 7 AM to 3:30 PM or from 3 PM to 7 PM, offering flexibility to fit various schedules. Candidates must have a clean California driver’s license due to the use of company vehicles in repositioning bikes. Physical requirements include frequently bending, stooping, twisting, and the ability to regularly lift objects exceeding 80 pounds. Being able to stand for long periods is also necessary due to the nature of the work.

Compensation for this position is $25 per hour, reflecting the value placed on the specialized skills and active engagement required.
