Job Description
Our practice is a rapidly growing medical facility committed to providing exceptional patient care and efficient healthcare services. We pride ourselves on fostering a welcoming environment for both patients and staff. As a dynamic healthcare establishment, we operate two office locations and serve a diverse patient base, including a significant Spanish-speaking community. Our team is dedicated to excellence, and we are currently expanding by hiring a Bi-lingual Medical Receptionist to support our front office operations and medical billing activities. This role is essential for ensuring smooth communication between patients, insurance companies, and healthcare providers to facilitate claims processing and enhance patient satisfaction.
The Bi-lingual Medical Receptionist position is a temp to permanent opportunity offering flexible part-time or full-time hours, with a competitive hourly pay rate ranging from $17 to $23, dependent on experience and expertise. This role requires an individual who is not only responsible and punctual but also motivated to develop their medical billing skills further, particularly if they have prior experience in a medical practice or hospital setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for answering phones, verifying insurance coverage, managing patient check-in and check-out processes, and corresponding directly with insurance companies to manage claims and appeals. This position entails handling unpaid and denied claims efficiently, ensuring that all medical billing tasks contribute to the financial health of the practice.
We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes a 401(k) retirement plan, paid vacation days, and health and dental insurance to support the well-being of our employees. Candidates must be bi-lingual in Spanish, as the role involves frequent communication with Spanish-speaking patients and insurance representatives. Reliable transportation is required since the job involves traveling between two office locations. This in-person role operates from Monday through Friday with varying shifts, including 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM on Monday to Wednesday and 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM on Thursday and Friday.
Overall, this position is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to integrate their administrative proficiency with medical billing expertise within a supportive and growing medical practice. We are looking for a dependable team member who can contribute to a positive patient experience and the efficient management of insurance claims, helping us maintain high standards of care and operational excellence.
