Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum six months experience in food preparations
- Food Handler's Certification completed before employment
- Ability to work full-time in person at Fort Worth, TX location
- Willingness to relocate prior to starting work
- Strong interpersonal and mentoring skills
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum six months experience in food preparation
- Food Handler's Certification completed prior to employment
- Ability to mentor and support people with mental illness
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to safety and health standards
- Previous experience in a community or supportive work environment preferred
Job Duties
- Prepare wholesome cooked meals daily according to menu specifications
- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment at all times
- Mentor coworkers and consumers in good work habits including attendance, following instructions, and teamwork
- Assist consumers with a history of mental illness in learning job responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with health department and safety regulations
- Support integration of trainees into the workplace through positive work support services
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment
