Job Requirements

No specific education level required
Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume fine dining, casual, and/or nightclub environment preferred
Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift, pull or push up to 50 pounds
Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with guests and coworkers
Must obtain and maintain Food Handlers Card and Alcohol Awareness Certification
Must be available to work varied schedules including events
Ability to work in a fast-paced, noisy, and smoke-filled environment
Must maintain professional appearance and demeanor

Job Qualifications

Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume fine dining, casual, and/or nightclub preferred
In-depth wine and alcohol knowledge preferred
Food service job experience for two (2) years
Must acquire and maintain a valid Food Handlers Card, Alcohol Awareness Certification, Suspicious Activity and other required compliance trainings

Job Duties

Answers beverage questions posed by guests
Maintains knowledge of beverage menu and any special items being offered
Observes guests and anticipates beverage needs and completes all steps of service as assigned
Provides quick, attentive, friendly and professional service to casino guests while communicating in a clear and concise manner
Accurately records all sales in the POS
Ensures the quality and presentation meets or exceeds the expectations of the guest
Ensures cleanliness of beverage area when necessary
Pushes in chairs on the casino floor as well as assists in picking up trash
Complies with all alcohol awareness and service policies and procedures with regard to alcohol service
Performs proper table maintenance and buses tables when necessary during peak periods
Stocks beverage station(s) (ice, juices, glassware, sugar packets, etc.) based on anticipated need guest or venue
Completes all other cleaning and sanitation duties as assigned by management
Ensures and collects appropriate guest payment for beverage service
Maintains a professional and tidy appearance at all times
Communicates in a positive, respectful manner to both internal and external guests
Must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work events and varied schedules per business need
Performs other duties as assigned
