Job Requirements
- Minimum of 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must possess and maintain a current California Food Handlers Certificate
- Must possess and maintain a current California Responsible Beverage Server Training Certificate
- Previous bartending experience
- Working knowledge of beer, wine, and liquor
- Knowledge of common drink recipes
- Basic math skills
- Ability to handle cash accurately
- Ability to operate a POS terminal

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Greet guests warmly with an appropriate greeting
- Present drink menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding beverages
- Provide timely, accurate, and friendly service while preparing the highest quality beverages
- Mix drinks, cocktails, and other bar beverages as ordered and consistent with the companys standard drink recipes
- Upsell drink specials and food items as directed by management
- Check identification of guests to verify age requirements for the purchase of an alcoholic beverage
- Record drink orders accurately and immediately after receipt into the POS system
- Collect payments from guests, process credit card charges, and accurately make changes as needed
- Handle the house bank and follow all cash handling procedures
- Maintain bottles and glasses in an attractive and functional manner
- Maintain high standards for safety and cleanliness in all bar areas
- Wash and sterilize glasses and dishes as directed by the manager
- Complete all side work duties including restocking and replenishment of bar inventory and supplies
- Maintain complete knowledge of and strictly abide by state liquor regulations
- Keep equipment in order and report maintenance issues to the General Manager
- Drive company golf carts and other vehicles as needed
- Practice safe working habits and take required breaks and meal periods
- Communicate guest needs, problems, and concerns to management
- Accurately and promptly report all cash and credit card tips to the General Manager
- Perform other duties as required by senior management
