Job Description

Overlake Golf & Country Club (OGCC), established in 1927, is a prestigious private family country club located in the tranquil and scenic neighborhood of Medina, Washington. Renowned as one of the premier family clubs in the Pacific Northwest, OGCC prides itself on offering a comprehensive and exceptional experience that blends timeless charm with modern amenities. The club features an array of recreational and social opportunities including golf, tennis, aquatics, dining, and various social activities that cater to members and their families seeking a welcoming environment to connect, relax, and create lasting memories. With a deep commitment to environmental stewardship, superior hospitality, and staff development, OGCC continues to thrive as a cherished gathering place for members, friends, and business associates alike.

We are currently looking to hire a Beverage Operations Assistant to join our vibrant Food & Beverage team. This hybrid role uniquely combines behind-the-scenes operational support and front-of-house customer interactions, playing an essential part in maintaining the smooth functioning and high standards of our beverage and cafe services. The Beverage Operations Assistant will support the Bar Manager with inventory management duties such as receiving deliveries, rotating stock, and keeping bar storage organized and well-maintained. At the same time, this position requires hands-on involvement in serving members, operating the point-of-sale (POS) system, and preparing food and beverages during seasonal cafe and pool events.

This is a physical and dynamic position ideal for motivated individuals who enjoy working in both back-of-house and guest-facing environments. OGCC operates as a non-tipping facility, emphasizing a team-based culture where excellent service and collaboration are highly valued. We foster an atmosphere that encourages professional growth through mentorship from experienced managers and a focus on industry best practices. Our core values of evolving, welcoming, enriching, healthy, and fun guide everything we do and help build a supportive and engaging workplace.

The Beverage Operations Assistant role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a historic and highly regarded institution while developing diverse skills in beverage operations and hospitality service. The successful candidate will thrive in a team-oriented environment, enjoy active and physically engaging work, and support our mission of providing unparalleled member experiences. Benefits include discounted employee meals, merchandise discounts, access to club events, paid meal breaks, health and wellness programs, and an annual employee appreciation week, all within a supportive and inclusive company culture. Join us at Overlake Golf & Country Club and be part of a dedicated team that values excellence and community.
