Serving a diverse clientele across several communities 7 days a week, Jon & Vinny's has become a beloved neighborhood favorite where guests come for everything from casual dinners to special celebrations. This fast-paced, high-volume restaurant pride itself on a welcoming vibe, delicious food, and an outstanding wine and cocktail program, creating memories around comforting meals and vibrant social gatherings. The establishment thrives on a culture of teamwork, respect, and intentional service, ensuring that every guest feels like a VIP when they walk through the door. Their core values—hospitality, intention, respect, teamwork, determination, and readiness—are deeply embedded in every interaction, and they cultivate an environment where employees can grow professionally and personally.
As a Beverage Manager at Jon & Vinny's, you will hold a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing the guest experience by managing all aspects of beverage operations. This leadership position requires someone who brings positive energy to the team and is dedicated to providing excellent service while ensuring the operational efficiency of the front-of-house. Responsibilities include hiring and training front-of-house staff, managing costs and inventory, scheduling labor effectively, and maintaining restaurant cleanliness and upkeep. A significant portion of your role will involve overseeing the beverage program, working closely with the wine director and vendors to curate an exceptional wine and cocktail selection that complements the restaurant's menu and atmosphere. You will ensure the smooth operation of daily beverage activities, including inventory control, invoice management, updating point-of-sale systems, and driving beverage sales to meet established goals.
You will lead staff education on beverage knowledge, provide floor presence focusing on wine service, and develop strong relationships with guests to build a welcoming environment. Managing the coffee program and barista station will also fall under your purview. Your ability to foresee scheduling needs and maintain careful tracking of all inventory, including handling special orders and managing the beverage forecast, will be critical. This position demands flexibility with shifts, a hands-on approach, and excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with the entire team. Maintaining certifications such as Manager Servsafe and Anti-Harassment is essential to comply with safety standards and foster a respectful workplace.
Joining Jon & Vinny's means becoming part of a supportive, passionate community committed to innovation and hospitality excellence. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute meaningfully to a dynamic brand that values quality, inclusivity, and the joy of sharing great food and wine. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are excited about leading a top-tier beverage program while supporting a dedicated team, this is the perfect opportunity to grow your career in the hospitality industry.
