Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years or older
  • Must be able to obtain a Gaming and Racing License from the Louisiana Racing Commission
  • Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret common documentation
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints
  • Ability to write and present information to management
  • Ability to perform normal mathematical computations
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
  • Ability to interpret various instructions and deal with multiple variables
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Willingness to work in office/casino environment with exposure to smoke, bright lights, and noise
  • Flexible to work in extreme heat or cold conditions occasionally

Job Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in food and beverage management
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret common documentation
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from team members, regulatory agencies or members of the staff
  • Ability to write and present information to management in a reasonable manner
  • Ability to perform normal mathematical computations
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions and deal with several variables
  • Must be 21 years or older
  • Must be able to obtain a Gaming and Racing License from the Louisiana Racing Commission

Job Duties

  • Manage all food and beverage and day-to-day operations within budgeted guidelines and to the highest standards
  • Preserve excellent levels of internal and external customer service
  • Design exceptional menus, purchase goods and continuously make necessary improvements
  • Identify customers’ needs and respond proactively to all of their concerns
  • Lead food and beverage team by attracting, recruiting, training and appraising talented personnel
  • Establish targets, KPIs, schedules, policies and procedures
  • Provide a two-way communication and nurture an ownership environment with emphasis in motivation and teamwork
  • Comply with all health and safety regulations
  • Perform all other duties, as assigned
