Job Requirements
- Food Handling Certification is mandatory
- Ability to work full-time in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills in English
- Ability to operate cash registers and POS systems
- Physical ability to lift, bend, push, pull, and stand for long periods
- Willingness to adhere to company dress code and safety policies
- Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Capability to follow instructions and work independently
Job Qualifications
- Background in customer service is advantageous
- Experience handling cash is beneficial
- Barista experience is not obligatory
- Sound mathematical skills and the ability to count accurately are required
- Ability to work independently with limited oversight
- Proficient English reading and communication skills
- Ability to follow recipes accurately
- Food Handling Certification is a prerequisite
- Ability to conform to designated attire expectations
- Capacity to meet physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking and standing
- Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be necessary
Job Duties
- Skillfully operate a register/POS system to manage transactions, ensuring accuracy in handling cash and credit card payments
- Extend a friendly welcome and aid to clients, predicting their needs to create a satisfactory interaction
- Carry out the brand's specifications in the preparation and delivery of coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
- Ensure that the food items are prepared and served in line with the establishment's guidelines
- Balance and manage the cash drawer, document transaction details on the cashier's slip, and execute deposit procedures
- Adhere to the policies and procedures regarding cash management at Aramark
- Install and dismantle coffee bar, workstations, or retail space in a way that promotes cleanliness and structured arrangement
- Ensure a sanitary work environment by consistently disinfecting and cleaning tools and surfaces
- Stock up on beverage coolers, ready-to-eat items, serving utensils, and sauces
- Follow recommended protocols for food and drink handling to maintain sanitation and avoid potential hazards
- Undertake miscellaneous assignments as directed by managers
