Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior customer service experience preferred
- Cash handling experience is an advantage
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and measurements
- Willingness to obtain food handling certification if not already held
- Ability to comply with company dress code and safety standards
- Physical capability to perform manual tasks including lifting and standing
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Having prior customer service experience is recommended
- Applicants with prior cash-handling skills are favored
- Barista experience is not obligatory
- Basic mathematical competencies and counting proficiencies are essential
- Skillfulness in working independently with limited oversight
- Essential skills include English reading proficiency, effective communication, and recipe compliance
- The Food Handling Certification needs to be acquired in accordance with standards
- Adhering to the designated dress code is compulsory
- Physical demands may include lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking and standing
- Wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) could be obligatory
Job Duties
- Skillfully operate a register/POS system to manage transactions, ensuring accuracy in handling cash and credit card payments
- Acknowledge and support customers, foreseeing their wants to ensure a favorable experience
- Follow the brand's directives when preparing and delivering coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
- Fulfill the requirements of the establishment by preparing and presenting food items according to their standards
- Keep the cash drawer in order, complete the necessary cashier documentation, and process bank deposits efficiently
- Maintain compliance with Aramark's cash handling policies and procedures
- Install and take apart coffee bar, designated areas, or establishment while maintaining cleanliness and structured layout
- Create a clean and safe work area by regularly sanitizing equipment and maintaining cleanliness
- Ensure that drink refrigerators, easy meal options, serviceware, and sauce varieties are always available
- Comply with health and safety protocols for food and drink preparation to prevent contamination and ensure the well-being of consumers
- Accept and complete any further responsibilities given by management
