Job Description

Seneca Gaming Corporation is a prominent organization operating in the entertainment and hospitality sector, primarily focused on providing superior casino gaming experiences along with excellent hospitality services. Known for its commitment to customer satisfaction and operational excellence, Seneca Gaming Corporation has established itself as a reputable employer within the gaming industry. As a company that values integrity, professionalism, and team collaboration, it offers a dynamic work environment where employees can thrive and develop their careers while contributing to an enjoyable and vibrant casino atmosphere.

The role of the Beverage Bar Back is crucial in supporting the beverage service operations within Seneca Gaming Corporation's casino environment. This position is designed for individuals passionate about providing outstanding customer service while efficiently managing the logistical aspects of beverage station upkeep. The Beverage Bar Back will ensure that all beverage stations are well-stocked, clean, and prepared to meet customer demands. This role encompasses a variety of physical tasks such as delivering bar supplies including CO2 canisters, liquor, wine, beer, fruit, glasses, ashtrays, and ice; employing carts for transportation of heavy loads; and performing regular cleaning and stocking duties.

The Beverage Bar Back must possess physical stamina as the job involves extensive use of arms, hands, and legs for pushing, pulling, lifting, bending, walking, and reaching throughout the casino. Effective communication skills in English are essential to maintain a professional and courteous interaction with both customers and colleagues. The role includes adherence to Seneca Gaming Corporation’s policies and Internal Control Standards, ensuring compliance and operational safety.

Beyond the routine responsibilities of stocking and cleaning, this position requires teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced, often loud environment where smoking is permitted. Employees in this role will have an opportunity to occasionally fulfill duties of a Beverage Bartender, broadening their experience within beverage services. The working hours are scheduled around a 24-hour casino operation, demanding flexibility and commitment from the candidate.

The starting salary for this position is $10.70 per hour, with compensation being negotiable based on the candidate’s experience and education. Seneca Gaming Corporation encourages applications from candidates who meet the qualifications but is also open to waiving some requirements in the absence of fully qualified individuals, making this an accessible opportunity to join a thriving company in the hospitality and gaming sector.
