Attention to detail and proactive communication are essential as the Barback anticipates replenishment needs, secures alcoholic beverages and bar equipment, and completes closing duties each shift. The position also requires adherence to safety protocols and participation in appropriate safety training and certifications.

Flexibility in scheduling is required, as the role often includes working nights, weekends, and holidays.

The Post Oak Hotel offers a competitive hourly wage of $11.50 for this tipped position, coupled with generous benefits including multiple benefit plans tailored to employee needs, paid time off, 401K plans, and employee discounts across dining, retail, amusements, and hotel stays. The hotel also fosters a community-focused environment with volunteer opportunities, complimentary parking, and colleague meals provided.

At The Post Oak Hotel, being a Barback is not just a job but an opportunity to be part of an award-winning luxury hospitality team that values passion, excellence, collaboration, integrity, and relevance. Candidates who aspire to uphold these values and are eager to grow in a dynamic, upscale hotel environment will find this position both challenging and rewarding. The hotel encourages applicants with prior restaurant experience, especially those who have worked in luxury hotels or Forbes-rated establishments, to apply.
