Prairie Meadows seeks individuals who thrive in such vibrant settings, have a passion for hospitality, and are eager to contribute positively to guests' experiences while supporting the venue's operational success.
The role of Concessions Supervisor at Prairie Meadows is pivotal to ensuring the highest standards of food and beverage service across multiple quick service outlets, including those linked with the live racing programs. This position involves supervising and coordinating daily staff activities in several food and beverage points including The Paddock, Prairie Coffee Company, Hotel Café, Meadows Market, and other concession stands associated with live events. The supervisor will play an essential part in maintaining excellence in food quality, presentation, and guest service while fostering a welcoming and efficient environment. This role requires proactive leadership to manage hiring, training, coaching, and disciplinary actions, ensuring that the service team is well-prepared, motivated, and operating at optimal staffing levels within budget limits. Operational duties also include inventory management—ordering supplies, verifying deliveries, and conducting accurate inventory counts to support smooth operations and cost control. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who enjoy fast-paced work environments, have a keen eye for quality service, and are passionate about hospitality management and team leadership. The employment type is full-time with varied shifts and days off, making it suitable for candidates who can adapt to changing schedules and thrive in a lively, customer-focused atmosphere.
