Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of health and safety or DOT compliance experience in transportation or manufacturing preferred
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA, DOT/FMCSA, and environmental regulations
  • Proven experience in safety audits, training, and incident investigations
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and compliance software such as TenStreet
  • Ability to travel regularly between retail and retread facilities
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field preferred

Job Duties

  • Develop, implement, and promote safety programs across all locations
  • Conduct facility and fleet safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments
  • Lead accident and incident investigations, including root cause analysis
  • Train and engage employees in OSHA, DOT, and Hazmat safety requirements
  • Maintain driver qualification files, permits, and fleet compliance records
  • Monitor and enforce DOT/FMCSA regulations, including Hours of Service
  • Partner with management to identify risks, track safety performance, and drive continuous improvement
