Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to perform some heavy lifting (25-30lbs)
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Ability to remain standing and active for a 9-hour shift
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (speak, read, and write)
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is a plus
- Strong communication skills
- Sales skills preferred
- Responsible alcohol service experience a plus
- Proper cash handling skills preferred
- Ability to work well with others in a team environment
Job Duties
- Set-up and break-down of the dining room and service stations, clearing and resetting tables, side work assignments, general cleaning of the work area
- Constantly keeping areas such as tables, floor, chairs, and service station clean, neat and organized
- Assist other employees as needed
- Pre-bus tables
- Courteously greet customers and inform them of current food promotions and specials, answer questions, and make suggestions regarding food and beverages
- Visually inspect all products to ensure garnishes are added appropriately and all food products are eye-appealing as designated
- Remove dirty dishes between courses and at the end of the meal and return them to the dishwashing area
- Report all food and service complaints to the manager
- Stock silverware, small containers, food products, garnishes, condiments, and various items
