Job Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old
Commitment to high standards
Ability to work well under pressure
Ability to remain standing and active for a 9-hour shift
Ability to work in extreme temperatures
Some heavy lifting up to 75lbs

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Prior experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is a plus
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail
Good physical stamina for prolonged standing and heavy lifting
Ability to follow health and safety regulations
Team player with good communication skills

Job Duties

Stack clean dishes on racks ensuring that clean water and detergent are used in the dishwasher
Deliver clean dishes to designated areas for use as time permits
Rinse bus buckets
Clean and dry pots pans utensils dough boxes trash removal and general cleaning of the work area
Receive unload and rotate products from vendors as needed
Perform general location maintenance
Assist cooks with prep as needed
Prepare the dishwashing machine for daily activity by opening and visually inspecting the machine for cracked or broken equipment and dishes
Identify broken and cracked dishes and discard in the appropriate location
Monitor dishwashing machine for correct operation and report machine malfunction and failure promptly
Clean the dishwasher and surrounding area throughout the day and at the close of business day
