The position available at Bert Ogden Mission Chevrolet is for a Bodyshop Porter within the Bodyshop department. Reporting directly to the Bodyshop Manager, the Porter plays a vital supporting role by performing a variety of essential tasks that aid the smooth operation of the bodyshop. This includes assisting with the write-up and tagging of customer vehicles, providing transportation for customers to and from their homes or workplaces, maintaining cleanliness around the service department and showroom areas, handling mail and other deliveries, and managing dealer trades.

The Porter is responsible for inspecting vehicles thoroughly during dealer trades, ensuring both vehicles exchanged are in perfect condition and include all necessary equipment. A valid Texas driver’s license, the ability to drive manual transmission vehicles, and a clean driving record are mandatory requirements for this position. The candidate must also demonstrate good judgment and manual dexterity to safely operate machinery and vehicles.
