Job Description

Delaware North Sportservice is a renowned leader in the hospitality industry, providing premier food, beverage, and retail services across a wide variety of venues. Currently, Delaware North serves as the exclusive food and beverage provider at the iconic Little Caesars Arena, located in Detroit, Michigan. Little Caesars Arena is a world-class, 20,000-seat venue that opened in 2017 and hosts major sporting events, including games for the NHL's Detroit Red Wings and the NBA's Detroit Pistons. Job Requirements

  • No experience or diploma required
  • Ability to read and understand recipes and food abbreviations
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to work as a team player
  • Ability to lift 30 pounds or more
  • Ability to stand for long periods, bend, lift, and reach
  • Ability to move rapidly and coordinate multiple orders
  • Exposure to variable temperatures

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to read and understand recipes and food abbreviations
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail
  • Ability to work as a team player, follow procedures and take directions
  • Basic math skills, ability to calculate and follow recipe measurements
  • No experience or formal diploma required
  • Strong communication skills
  • Willingness to learn and adapt

Job Duties

  • Follow supervisor's assignments for food production and prepare food and beverage products by following recipe guidelines, use proper preparation techniques, and sanitation guidelines
  • Set up, operate and clean kitchen equipment according to correct procedures, keep workstations clean, organized, sanitized, and sufficiently stocked
  • Work cooperatively with team members and management
  • Follow supervisor's assignments for opening and closing procedures
  • Maintain food safety and sanitation standards
  • Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment
  • Handle multiple orders efficiently in a fast-paced environment
