The Seasonal Cook position at Delaware North Sportservice in Little Caesars Arena offers a unique opportunity to be part of a vibrant culinary team in a fast-paced, energetic environment. The role is seasonal and perfect for individuals passionate about food preparation, eager to contribute to a dynamic kitchen team, and interested in honing their culinary skills. This role pays between $16.50 and $17.60 per hour and includes potential eligibility for health, dental, and vision insurance, among other benefits.
As a Cook on this team, no two days are the same. You will be responsible for preparing food and beverage products according to recipe guidelines, maintaining clean and organized workstations, and operating kitchen equipment safely and correctly. The position requires cooperation with team members and management to ensure efficient kitchen operations and to deliver exceptional dining experiences to guests. You will follow supervisor instructions for food production and kitchen procedures as well as opening and closing duties. This role demands attention to detail, the ability to multitask under pressure, and a commitment to food safety and sanitation.
This position is well-suited for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and wish to learn or enhance their culinary abilities without the need for prior experience or specific educational credentials. Physical requirements include the ability to lift 30 pounds or more, stand for extended periods, bend, lift, reach, and operate in variable temperature conditions. Job Duties
- Follow supervisor's assignments for food production and prepare food and beverage products by following recipe guidelines, use proper preparation techniques, and sanitation guidelines
- Set up, operate and clean kitchen equipment according to correct procedures, keep workstations clean, organized, sanitized, and sufficiently stocked
- Work cooperatively with team members and management
- Follow supervisor's assignments for opening and closing procedures
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment
- Handle multiple orders efficiently in a fast-paced environment
