Job Description

Davidson Hospitality Group is a prestigious, award-winning hospitality management company with a robust presence across the United States. Specializing in overseeing hotels, restaurants, dining, and entertainment venues, Davidson Hospitality has established itself as a trusted partner and preferred operator for renowned brands such as Hilton, Hyatt, Kimpton, Marriott, and Margaritaville. The company is characterized by a unique entrepreneurial management style and an owner's mentality, which allows it to blend the personalized service and agility of a small business with the extensive expertise and resources typical of a larger corporation. This combination enables Davidson to consistently deliver exceptional value and a high level of service to both its clientele and its employee team members.

Davidson Hospitality's operations are organized into four specialized verticals: Davidson Hotels, Pivot, Davidson Resorts, and Davidson Restaurant Group, each bringing distinct expertise to the hospitality landscape. The company emphasizes a culture of care and value not only for its guests and clients but also for its employees. Working at Davidson means becoming part of a team that sees hospitality not just as a job but as a meaningful calling. The company fosters a workplace that encourages passion, growth, and collaboration, redefining quality hospitality and setting new standards in guest service delivery.

The Bell Staff role at Davidson Hospitality is integral to the guest experience. Bell Staff are the face of the hotel upon arrival, responsible for warmly welcoming guests, assisting with luggage and packages, and ensuring a smooth and pleasant beginning and end to each guest’s visit. This position demands attentive and proactive service, anticipating the needs of guests to provide assistance tailored to individual preferences, including supporting guests with disabilities. Additionally, Bell Staff assist guests by providing information about the hotel’s facilities, local attractions, and hours of operation, enhancing the overall stay.

Transportation responsibilities are also part of the role, where Bell Staff may be tasked with safely and promptly transporting guests using the hotel shuttle when available. This duty requires a valid driver’s license, a good understanding of the local area, and an unyielding commitment to safety and guest comfort.

Davidson Hospitality offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to enrich the lives and well-being of its employees and their families. Team members enjoy medical, dental, and vision insurance, competitive hotel discounts, tuition reimbursement programs, an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), life insurance, paid time off encompassing vacation, sick leave, bereavement, and holidays, a 401K retirement plan, and recognition through team member service awards. This holistic benefits offering underscores Davidson’s commitment to supporting its employees both professionally and personally.

Davidson Hospitality maintains a drug-free workplace and requires pre-employment drug testing and background checks in compliance with E-Verify standards. The company is an Equal Opportunity Employer that actively embraces diversity and inclusion, welcoming minorities, females, veterans, individuals with disabilities, and people of all gender identities and sexual orientations. This inclusive approach supports an environment where every employee feels valued and empowered to contribute to the company’s success.

This specific Bell Staff position may be located at a hotel where Hyatt is not the direct employer; employment and associated benefits may be managed by a third-party management company. Prospective candidates should be prepared for this employment structure.

Joining Davidson Hospitality as Bell Staff provides an opportunity to be part of a dynamic and dedicated team focused on delivering exceptional guest experiences with genuine warmth and professionalism. This role is perfect for individuals who take pride in their service-oriented nature, possess excellent communication skills in English, and enjoy engaging with diverse guests and colleagues. The company’s strong culture, competitive benefits, and career development opportunities make Davidson Hospitality an employer of choice in the hospitality industry.
