The role of Bellperson/Valet at Hilton Grand Vacations is a frontline position that requires a friendly personality and a proactive attitude. This position serves as the first point of contact for Owners and guests arriving at the resort, ensuring their experience starts with a warm welcome and seamless assistance. The key responsibilities include supervising the property entrance, greeting and assisting guests with luggage, parking and retrieving vehicles, and addressing special requests such as room moves or grocery deliveries. Bellperson/Valet team members play an essential role in maintaining a safe, organized, and inviting atmosphere at the property's front entrance and lobby areas. This role demands exceptional interpersonal skills to build personal connections with guests by remembering their names, preferences, and routines, thereby enhancing the overall guest experience. Additionally, the role requires the ability to operate various types of passenger vehicles and abide by safety protocols to safeguard guests and property. Job Requirements
- 6 months customer service experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Self-starting personality with an even disposition
- Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 150 pounds
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- Ability to withstand outdoor extreme weather conditions
- Ability to move quickly in response to work situations
Job Qualifications

- Resort or hotel hospitality experience preferred
Job Duties
- Supervises property entrance and accepts guest arrivals
- Greets and assists owners and guests transporting and securing their luggage appropriately
- Park guests' cars in designated area
- retrieve cars for guests
- Delivers messages and assists with room move requests, groceries, and other inquiries
- Reports any problem or unusual activities to management
- Ensures an organized, safe and clean front entrance and lobby area
- Carries out reasonable requests by management including assisting other departments when needed
- Know and use members names, preferences, and routines and develop a personal connection with each member
- Provides instructions regarding the amenities of the room and property services and activities provided for guests' use
- Delivers messages, express check-out folios, newspapers, and other requested items
- Retrieving, transporting, organizing, and storing of luggage in designated area
- Identify and explain room features to guests
- Driving, parking, retrieving all types of passenger vehicles and records advance transportation request as needed
- Maintain awareness of undesirable persons on property premises being a safety and security advocate
- Special projects as given by leadership
- responding to all guest requests to ensure client happiness
- Willing to pitch in and help co-workers with their job duties and be an outstanding teammate
