Sonesta International Hotels is currently seeking a Part-Time Bell Attendant/Driver to join its team. This role is critical in ensuring guests receive a warm welcome and exceptional service throughout their stay. The Bell Attendant/Driver is primarily responsible for greeting guests courteously and handling their luggage efficiently during check-in and check-out times. In addition, this role involves delivering guest mail, messages, and packages, as well as managing guest laundry pick-up and delivery. A key part of the position is driving the hotel shuttle within a three-mile radius to safely transport guests to and from the hotel, ensuring their comfort and convenience. This part-time position offers flexible scheduling with shifts available in the mornings and evenings, including nights, weekends, and holidays, accommodating various guest needs and hotel demands. The role requires physical stamina, excellent communication skills, and the ability to perform tasks such as lifting heavy luggage, standing for prolonged periods, and navigating different weather conditions. Job Requirements
- High school education or equivalent
- must speak fluent English
- excellent communication skills
- six months guest service experience or hotel experience preferred
- valid driver's license required with a good driving record, updated every 6 months
- ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time
- ability to bend, squat, kneel, climb, and reach daily
- ability to lift, carry and store in overhead areas approximately 50 pounds and push and/or pull a luggage cart weighing approximately 200 pounds
- ability to work in extreme temperatures
- ability to read and write
- ability to comply with van driver and/or valet parker requirements
- flexibility for both AM/PM shifts, and may be required to work nights, weekend, and/or holidays

Job Duties
- Promptly greet, welcome, and assist guests upon arrival
- assist guests to load and unload luggage from the vehicle
- inform guests of parking options
- safely handle luggage to and from guest rooms, may secure, tag, and store luggage at guest's request
- deliver guest mail, messages, packages, etc. at guest's request
- pick up and deliver guest laundry
- explain and promote hotel facilities, outlets, and services to guests and provide information about local attractions and activities
- perform any other duties as assigned by management
- perform a daily vehicle inspection of the shuttle at the start of the shift
- always maintain hotel shuttle clean
- transport guests to and from the hotel within a 3-mile radius
- always remain on the scheduled route
- ensure the safety of all passengers and their belongings
- load/unload guest luggage
- perform any other tasks as assigned by management
