Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One to three months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules and instructions
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using units of American money and measurements
- Must provide highest customer service to all guests
- Ability to stand, walk, use hands, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, hear, taste, or smell
- Must be able to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds
- Must have a valid driver’s license held for at least one year
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English
- Ability to work in various environmental conditions
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance and confidentiality
- Ability to work extended hours including standing at least 8 hours a day
- Physical stamina to run up to 200 yards multiple times a day
- Ability to enter and exit customer vehicles 75 or more times daily
- Ability to handle wheelchairs, strollers, baggage, and gifts into and out of vehicles
- Ability to work standing for long periods
- Ability to present information and respond to questions effectively
- Comply with all company safety and security policies
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One to three months related experience and/or training
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Ability to interact with guests using the Hospitality Standards
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Valid driver’s license held for at least one year
Job Duties
- Greet all guests upon arrival
- Open doors and assist guests/visitors entering and leaving property
- Assist arriving and departing guests with luggage to and from rooms promptly
- Assist guests in and out of transportation
- Maintain security of vehicles and vehicle keys
- Promote all hotel functions and facilities
- Monitor and direct personal and commercial vehicle traffic on property
- Assist departing guests to their transportation
