Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED
  • one to three months related experience or training
  • ability to stand for at least 8 hours daily
  • ability to run up to 200 yards 50 times a day
  • ability to enter and exit customer vehicles 75 or more times daily
  • ability to lift wheelchairs, strollers, walkers, baggage, and gifts
  • effective communication skills
  • proficiency in English language reading, writing, and speaking
  • ability to present information and respond to groups
  • ability to work in hot, wet, humid, and loud environments
  • physical capabilities including grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, hearing, visual acuity
  • ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • ability to work standing for long periods
  • valid driver's license held for at least one year
  • clean driving record that must be maintained

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • one to three months related experience and/or training
  • ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals
  • ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide with numbers in tens and hundreds
  • skills in using units of American money, weight, volume, and distance

Job Duties

  • greet all guests upon arrival
  • open doors and assist guests/visitors entering and leaving property
  • assist arriving and departing guests with luggage promptly
  • assist guests in and out of transportation
  • maintain security of vehicles and vehicle keys
  • promote all hotel functions and facilities
  • monitor and direct vehicle traffic on property
  • assist departing guests to their transportation
  • communicate parking procedures to guests/visitors
  • maintain cleanliness of valet area
  • assist guests with general information
  • monitor and maintain safety and security of parking areas
  • identify and explain room features to guests
  • supply guests with directions and information regarding property amenities and local areas
  • follow all company policies and procedures
  • transport guest luggage to and from guest rooms
  • follow safety and security policies
  • assist individuals with disabilities
  • thank guests with genuine appreciation
  • speak clearly and professionally
  • develop and maintain positive working relationships
  • comply with quality assurance standards
  • stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • move, lift, carry objects up to 50 pounds without assistance
  • polish and clean bell carts daily
