Job Requirements
- Must be 15 years of age or older
- Basic math skills to handle transactions and orders accurately
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with residents, guests, and team members
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts
- Previous experience in a customer service or food service role preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Food Handler’s Permit or ServSafe certification preferred

- Previous experience in a customer service or food service role preferred but not required
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with residents, guests, and team members
- Basic math skills to handle transactions and orders accurately
- Experience working in a healthcare, senior living, or public administration dining environment preferred
- Food Handler’s Permit or ServSafe certification preferred
- Familiarity with dietary restrictions and special nutrition needs preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate and patient demeanor
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Greet and seat residents and guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Present menus, explain daily specials, and answer questions regarding menu items and ingredients
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them promptly to kitchen and bar staff
- Serve meals and beverages efficiently while ensuring proper presentation and temperature
- Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly address any concerns or special requests
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including tables, chairs, and service stations
- Assist with setting up and breaking down dining areas for meal service
- Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines as required by public administration standards
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and timely service during peak hours
