Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food service preferred
- Ability to follow detailed menus and instructions
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
- Compassion and patience working with seniors
- Basic food safety knowledge
Job Duties
- Prepare meals according to the prepared menu
- Present meals attractively to residents
- Serve meals to residents in a courteous and timely manner
- Clean up dining areas and kitchen post-meal
- Store leftovers and supplies properly
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of kitchen and pantry
- Monitor and assure adequate supply levels for meal preparation
