Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- two years driving experience with a clean driving record
- valid driver's license
- ability to drive manual and automatic vehicles
- able to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- strong communication skills
- ability to speak and understand English
- clean and professional appearance
- pass a background check
- be at least 18 years old
- physically able to lift luggage up to 70 lbs
- capable of prolonged standing, walking and climbing stairs
- comfortable working indoors and intermittently outdoors
- dependable, punctual, responsible
- tactful, courteous and discreet
- enthusiastic about 21c Museum Hotels
- willingness to train on manual transmissions within 90 days
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- must have at least two years driving experience with a clean driving record
- must be able to drive vehicles with manual (stick shift) and automatic transmissions
- able to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- strong communication skills
- must be able to speak and understand English
- clean and professional appearance
- demonstrates enthusiasm for all things 21c
- must have and maintain a valid driver's license
- must pass a background check
- must be 18 years of age or older
- must be comfortable in various vehicle types and willing to train on manual transmissions to achieve proficiency within the first 90 days
Job Duties
- clean lobby areas and entrances and maintain free of debris to present a clean and attractive facility to customers
- assist other employees and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department and hotel
- greet and assist arriving guests with help unloading luggage from vehicle and transporting to their room
- personally carry luggage or use a luggage cart
- valet offers to park guest's vehicle and gives claim ticket
- assist departing guests by transporting luggage from room to lobby and help guest load luggage into vehicle
- valet retrieves vehicle and assists guest with departure
- respond to guest needs by promptly delivering laundry, newspapers, iron and ironing board, additional linens, etc., in person
- respond to inquiries and promote the hotel's services by explaining products/services
- provide the guest with up-to-date hotel information to enhance customer relations
- keep abreast of local activities and establishments to answer questions, recommend and give directions
- maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times with guests, teammates, and passersby
- perform other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management
