Job Requirements

  • minimum of 5 years helicopter aviation experience
  • commercial rotorcraft pilot license
  • certified flight instructor qualifications (CFI/CFII or AGI)
  • at least 1000 hours total helicopter flight time
  • at least 500 hours as instructor pilot
  • no revocation of any pilot’s license by FAA or regulatory agencies
  • excellent communication skills
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • ability to work in collaborative team environment
  • self-motivated and disciplined
  • ability to travel up to 15 percent internationally
  • willingness to work shifts outside standard business hours
  • eligibility to work under ITAR and EAR regulations
  • U.S. person as defined by ITAR/EAR

Job Qualifications

  • commercial rotorcraft license
  • certified flight instructor (CFI/CFII) or AGI for ground instructors
  • at least 1000 hours total helicopter flight time
  • minimum 500 hours as an instructor pilot
  • no revocation of any pilot license by FAA or regulatory agencies
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel and MS Projects
  • ability to work collaboratively in a team
  • self-motivated and disciplined
  • proactive with attention to detail
  • bachelors degree preferred
  • ATP rotorcraft certification preferred
  • night vision goggle (NVG) experience preferred
  • at least 500 hours instrument flight experience preferred
  • knowledge of Bell products preferred
  • bilingual or multilingual preferred
  • experience instructing for other Civil Aviation Authorities preferred
  • experience with FAA or EASA audits preferred
  • ability to exercise judgment and discretion under pressure

Job Duties

  • deliver academic ground instruction and simulator training to customers for visual and instrument flight
  • coordinate and participate in development of flight and ground training courseware
  • follow flight safety and practice area procedures
  • interface with maintenance facility group to ensure aircraft are prepared for flight
  • comply with all applicable Aviation Authority requirements
  • travel domestically or internationally as required
  • provide subject matter expertise during sales and marketing flights
