Job Duties

  • Greet and escort guests to rooms
  • Open doors and assist guests or visitors entering and leaving property
  • Inform guests of property amenities, services, and hours of operation, and local areas of interest and activities
  • Identify and explain room features to guests (e.g., use of room key, mini-bar, ice and vending areas, in-room safe, valet laundry services)
  • Transport guest luggage to and from guest rooms and/or designated bell area
  • Assist guests or visitors in and out of vehicles including loading/unloading luggage
  • Supply guests with directions
  • Arrange transportation (e.g., taxicab, shuttle bus, limousine/sedan service) and record advance transportation requests
  • Communicate parking procedures to guests or visitors
  • Follow company policies and report accidents or unsafe conditions
  • Maintain awareness of undesirable persons on premises
  • Ensure clean and professional appearance
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Welcome and acknowledge guests and anticipate their service needs
  • Assist individuals with disabilities
  • Communicate clearly and professionally
  • Build positive working relationships
  • Comply with quality assurance standards
  • Perform physical tasks including lifting and moving luggage
  • Perform other reasonable duties as requested
